Besides the possible problem of entering the US too often, there is a possibility of being liable for US income taxes (check the US tax laws on substantial presence test). Normally for snowbirds, this usually isn't a problem since they pay taxes in their foreign country and the tax credits usually are enough to offset any US taxes that they may be due but I suspect that you are working in a tax free country.

The problem may be when you complete your I94 each time you arrive, and put your rented home as your destination address, as you will be legally bound to do. What are you going to say when the immigration officer asks whose address that is? "Oh, that's place I'm renting" greatly increases the chances of you making your return flight much earlier than you'd anticipated!
