address on visa granted was old one
hi
I got my spousal visa - but the address on the form on front of the brown envelope is my husbands parents - where we intended to live but my husbands work has meant he has had to go to live in a different state. What should I do - tell the immigration officer at POE or wait until I am in the US to sort it out ( I fly out in a week)
Thanks
Gill

At the POE, you will sign and thumb-print your future greencard. At this point, they will check the address to send it on to, so this would be the time to change it.
You don't have to worry about this - lots of people make changes during the long immigration process. It's really common to use a parental address for all the paperwork as it is clearly not reasonable to rent a flat or buy a house ahead of the move - especially when the US citizen has been living abroad.
