Hang the price they're fabulous and sorry just my taste but better than silver skins. SSS also does the Haywards brand. I do object to paying $4.99 for a jar of picks but sometimes you just gotta have 'em!

That's what I'm waiting for. Most of the properties I saw in the New Year are still for sale. I'm hoping by autumn prices will have come down...or maybe I will wait until early next year when hopefully the sellers will be desperate.

i think you will be in good shape. Me losing out on 5k of taxable virtual profit it not that big of a deal in the grand scheme of things. Paying a 1k per month mortgage for the next year while the value is simultaneously going down is...

The exchange rate is the bummer at the moment and I can't see it improving any time soon. When you're talking property prices it can amount to the loss of a lot of brass. What you win in one hand you lose in the other.

Me neither.

Maybe I should take on a second job to save for a property in the UK after the kids are grown. I hear the oldest profession in the world pays well and it'd fit into my schedule since I have a day job....

All i would suggest is looking into buying a cashflow property (or two) where you are now and flog it when the kids are grown

should give you at least a decent chunck to put down...

True, but someone has to look after said property. I've been a landlady of one house and it was a LOT of work. Gotta wait until I've got the time.... luckily (or not) Austin is growing by leaps and bounds and I know the city very well.... given enough free time I could find something.

Husband is NOT entrepreneurial; neither am I, but I'm more so than he!
