Well, here's holding thumbs for ya!

Sweetbay has a huge international aisle. Have they made their way down to you all yet?

HELL YES

I got a bit less than i wanted, but i'd rather lose a few thousand virtual dollars now than the whole deal when the uk market takes a dive and no-one can afford to buy because of interet rates....

lets hope it goes through....

couple of my mates who just bought houses are shitting themselves because of the increase in mortgage payments because of interest rates.

shame that they can;t look beyond that at the potential of being 20k in negative equity in 2 years...

(Well, the wife cares of course but she can be a bit of a trumpet bum herself on occasion lol)
Stop and Shop sell onions in water in a jar. We buy them, drain water off then fill with heinz white vinegar. Place in the fridge for 24 to 48 hours and eat. For just over a dollar a jar + vinegar, it is pretty close to the real thing.

SS has the onions in the veggie isle. I bet you could get the same thing else where and they are white skinned too.

I hope this means we get loads of lovely tourists over here.

Probably won't, though.

Yes, we get those ones too - but they are about 4 times the price of doing them yourself and they aren't silver skins
