X-Ray for Embassy medical

X-Ray for Embassy medical
I've heard conflicting things about getting the chest x-ray for the embassy medical. Do you need to get it done beforehand and bring it to the medical, or can you get it done on the day of the medical right there and then? This goes for the immunisations too. If you are not up-to-date on your shots can you get them done on the day, or do you need to make sure you have them before the date of the medical?

Re: X-Ray for Embassy medical
I guess your relating to the DV-2003. You got a notification letter and an
appointment to your local US-embassy.
You do the medical tests about 3 weeks in advance to the embassy's
appointment.
They will do the X-rays on the spot (the doctor did it in our case).
However, we did have our immunisation status tested beforehand, so in case
we needed the one or the other new inoculation. We presented the results of
the test to the doctor and she accepted it. The HIV test, however, was done
at the medical test.
If you have x-rays of your chest i would take them with you anyway. If the
docter at the medical accepts them you won't need to pay for the new ones!

Re: X-Ray for Embassy medical
When we did it, X-rays where done at the Consulate, and we were not current
on immunisation shots, but they had it all figured it out there and sent us
to a public health office where everybody was taken care of in no time. The
day after we brought the paperwork to the Consulate.
