Wow - Speedy USCIS
Sometimes USCIS knocks me over with a feather, the way it behaves. For once, it's a good way.
Derek's permanent resident card arrived today - 3 weeks after the approval letter, 32 days after the AOS interview. We never bothered to go get the passport stamp after he got his letter, so this is a Good Thing.
Makes you wonder why everything can't be this speedy.
(It might have had something to do with that letter we sent, too..........naah

Re: Wow - Speedy USCIS Green Card
They do sometimes amaze...after being approved for the I-751 we went to our
local office for the stamp and to apply for the 10 GC. They told us at that
time to expect 12-15 months wait for the GC...lo and behold it arrived in a
matter of weeks!
Congrats to you!

Wolfie:
Where are you located? I had my I-751 approved on May 24. At that time I was also fingerprinted and two pictures were received.
I wonder when should I expect the unconditional GC in the mail? This took place in Santa Ana (L.A. area) California.

HI
No, we are in Tennessee and we went to Nashville, two weeks ago for the
fingerprinting,,,,,,so we were wondering how long it would be before the
interview in Memphis.
