Why do they need the same papers so many times?
As I go to get yet more photographs taken and documents photocopied, I
find myself wondering what the INS^H^H^HBCIS does with the duplicates.
I can understand the need for photographs, at least some of the time
they may be looked at to check that the person standing in front of
the desk is the same as the one who submitted the form [though that
would be easy enough to cheat].
But, let's face it, most of the documents are just repeating ones
already sent in. The only explanation I can think of is that once a
visa, or whatever, is issued then your file is reduced to a one page
summary and all the documents are shredded.

hahaha i had been wondering the same too. some says because this time the documents go here, next time go there. basically each place wants a copy.
but then, i just dont care. i go with the ride, give them what they want, and stop having headache trying to find out the real truth :P

Hi:
You don't care what THEY need -- you care what YOU need -- and that's a green card. If they tell you kill trees -- kill trees.
