Silly question but what do I put. I came in on an "I" visa, which is a meda visa (I'm a press photographer)

So do I put "I visa" or temporary nonimmigrant visa?

What about the I-94W that asks the date and city that the visa was issued?

I don't believe the I-94W asks for that information.

Totally does, seen it three times this year. I don't remember seeing it before, it obviously makes no sense and I think it's some kind of cockup. I write "n/a".

While it may show up on the I-94, to my knowledge it does not appear on the green I-94W. Of course, if I'm mistaken, perhaps someone can upload an image of a current I-94W.

It does make sense. Not everyone comes on the VWP. Since the form is intended for all visitors, the question is valid and not a trick question at all.

But if you're coming on a visa, you use the white I-94 instead of the green I-94W. The question makes no sense on an I-94W.
