Default What should I do with the new appo for biometrics?

Hey friends,

I'd like to hear your inputs again...I missed my initial biometrics
appointment for EAD and sent in a letter immediately after I realized
it to request another appointment. I waited for two weeks and did not
hear anything from USCIS. Then I came here and asked for help. Some
friends suggested that I try walking in. I did and was successful.

Now two weeks has passed since I had my fingerprints done. I received a
letter from the USCIS telling me that they have scheduled another
appointment for me on the 25th of Feb. I am not sure what I should do
with this letter. Should I just ignore it? Should I walk in again to
let them know that I do not need it?

I am confused that why they would send me another appointment letter
two weeks after I have done the biometrcis. Shouldn't they check my
status before they sent out the letter?

I am concerned if I ignore this letter, they would never approve my EAD
because they'd assume that I never showed up for the appointment.

Anybody could share with me your thoughts on things like this? I'd
really apprecaite it!

Thanks so much!
Hope

Some additional info...I called the USCIS, first time I was actually
transferred to talk to an officer. I asked this officer if I should go
to do the fingerprints again on the 25th of Feb. Guess what this lady
told me? She said if you want to go on the 25th, you go; if you don't
want to go, you don't go. I told her I am concerned if I don't go, she
said, then go. It was like catch 22. The only thing I could tell was
that she was definitely more upset than I was.
Well, I have to say I am totally surprised by the level of service
USCIS provides and by her hostle attitude.
Hope :-(
