Default What form used in Turkey I-134, I-864

How close do they look at these forms.
I do not own anything and live with my mom in an apartment.
What amount of income do they look at,
I make around $ 30,000 year full time and part time I make around $ 8,000
part time year
Do they look at all your bills.
Do they look at your bank account.

I will not be starting this my K1 till the end of the year.
I just want to start getting things ready.
Thank for any help
Brad

Hi Brad

They look VERY closely at your current income. $30,000 a year is more than enough. You can see the guideline here:

http://travel.state.gov/povert.html

They do not look at your outstanding bills or debt....only your income. For a fiance visa you will fill out I-134 Affidavit of Support. You will need to provide at least 1 year bank statements, and a letter from your current employer(s) stating job title, length of employment, and salary. You'll also need 3 years of tax returns, including your W-2's. I was missing year 2002 W-2 when I sent mine in, and they specifically asked for it to be brought to the interview. Get all this information as close to her interview date as possible. What I mean is, you can start gathering it now, but when it comes time for her interview, most likely mid to late next year, be prepared to have current information to turn in. Especially have the I-134 notarized as close as possible to the interview date. Definitely have it all ready by the time she receives Packet 3 from Ankara embassy, because they require the I-134 and supporting docs to be mailed back along with all the immigration forms.

Best Wishes,
Rene

Thank you that was a lot of help.
by then i will have all the paper work,
I am trying to find out everything that mite be helpful,
I am going to meet her this winter, after that I will start the K1.

When she comes her can she work or not.
She is a Architect, that was she took in college and wants to come here and
do.
She like working.

I told her after we meet she should have not trouble getting her K1 visa.
I told her when i come i was going to ask her to marry me.
She already said yes.
I told her i will ask her again there and if she said yes, I was going to
buy her an engagement ring.

Yes we are both in love, I showed her that already.
I am not just trying to get her in USA.

Thanks again Brad
I am sure as time goes by I will be asking allot more questions.

Hi Brad

After she receives the K-1 visa, if she comes to the states via JFK airport in New York, she will probably get a 90-day temporary EAD (work permit). She can work legally for those 90 days. In the meantime, you and she will get married and complete the AOS (Adjustment of Status) paperwork and submit it, part of which includes an application for a 1-year EAD. However, be aware that USCIS is very backlogged on processing, and she could very well end up with a gap in her work authorization, where she will be unable to work legally.

So basically, the answer to your question is yes, if she gets the 90-day temp. EAD, she can work upon entry to the states. Later on she may experience a period where she will not be authorized to work, and will have to wait for another EAD.

Best Wishes,
Rene

She will come into JFK Airport,
I am hoping when everything is done, I can go pick her up and bring her
back.
I hope when time comes, everything at the interview goes good for her,
I kind of worry about the interview for her.
But she has never been to USA, so I hope its easy for her.
I can not start paper work till I see her, I think that will be sometime in
winter.
I told her when I come I will buy her an engagement ring.

Every 2 weeks I send her flowers,
her birthday is Aug 20, so I will send her flowers and cake.
I have to wait to see if she moves to Istanbul first.
I am hoping she lets me stay with her.

I still have a long ways to go before I can do anything, right now its just
wait.

I want a Turkish wife, ever since I went to Turkey last summer,

Hello, Brad:

If the Turkish Women is a MUSLIM, then FORGET ABOUT "I am hoping she
lets me stay with her" WITHOUT MARRIAGE. Because HER FATHER OR BROTHER
WILL BE WAITING FOR YOU WITH A SHOT-GUN TO MAKE YOU AN EUNICH".

CASE CLOSED!! I hope YOU THINK ABOUT THIS!!!
