What does USCIS do?
I have a very basic question regarding the whole process of I-485
(marriage based)
What does USCIS does to the I-485 between the time the case is filed
and the interview is scheduled?
My question is :
Are they checking anything like -is the applicant (alien) legal in the
country and is is admissible or what?
I always wonder that
