Hi,
I need some advice on my situation, I completed my OPT on Oct 10th and I am going to attend school in Jan 04. Since my grace period ends in Dec 10th, the next available term to begin school is January and I am too late for the Fall 03 term.
Q: Am I out of status now? what is my situation between Dec 10th and Jan 04 when I start classes again.

Also article 5 states that you can be out of status for a period of five months before seeking to re-instate status, is this true?

please shed some light on my situation.
