what to do if I lose GC in while in Canada?

Default what to do if I lose GC in while in Canada?

Subject says it all. How would I get back into the US if a lost my
greencard (or my wallet was stolen)?

This is something I continually worried about.
Take a couple of photocopies of your GC and your passport/visas, and
put them in different places while you travel. So if you do lose it
at least you have a good copy of what was lost.

Hi:

I would make sure you make a police report! When you get to the border, explain what happened. They can check the computer to see if you are in it. It can be handled.
