Default Waiver Approvals

Hello, does anyone have any information on the timelines of I-212 waivers? Or, does anyone have any experience with this waiver? My husband has to file this, and he was granted voluntary departure from the US, and has to leave by September 1st 2004. We have an approved I-130, and he is illegally here. I am a US Citizen....again, he has been here 18 out of his 21 years and we are anxious for his return once he leaves....anyone have any info???????? please help!

Hi Emily, I don't know too much about the I-212 except that it is filed for an overstay. I've seen a bunch of them approved but they take time, depending on where you're filing. I don't remember seeing any 212's filed in Jamaica, but I'm sure you will find some assistance in this group.
Best of Luck!

Thanks so much, but I guess that we don't need an I-212 now, but we will need another waiver I believe a 601? Confusionnnn!
