You don't have to re-create the whole original packet. You just need to bring originals of anything you previously submitted a photocopy of.

From now on, you should make a complete photocopy set for your own records, of ANYthing you send to ANYone regarding immigration.

We have received his Authorization for employment card, which also states that it can be used for Advanced parole....wooooohooooooo :thumbsup:

Based upon the facts given by OP, use of the Advance Parole will have no ill effects. Theirs is one of those rare cases where use of AP might be advantageous.
