Default Visiting US twice in one year/dv lottery

Hi

My husband and I returned from the US from visiting friends in the middle of July - we were there for 4 weeks.

I now have a friend who has invited me over on my own for 8 days at the end of November and I'd really love to go.. My question is - will immigration make an issue of the fact that I'm returning so soon? I have a B1/B2 visa. I could also bring with me a letter from my employer and details of my mortgage etc.

Also, my husband has applied for the DV Lottery 2004 - he has received word that he has been chosen and we've sent the application off - do you reckon immigration would have a note of that when I try to enter on holiday? And would this go against me?

And whilst I'm on the subject My husband's number for Europe is 24*** - taking into account past years - does anyone know roughly what month he can expect to get an interview (if at all). If I thought it would be within the next 6 months I probably wouldn't bother taking a trip out there in November.

Thanks in Advance

It sounds like you would have spent four months outside the US, and both
visits are rather short. So I can't see how the there would be a problem.

There should not be a problem, either. Department of State has a policy
that explicitly says that entering or even winning the lottery does not
constitute immigration intent. While this is not binding on BCBP, I don't
think there would be a problem even if they did find out (and they
shouldn't in the first place).

Sorry, can't help you there.
