Default Visit to Canada from US and back again.

I will be visiting Canada in July for 1 week going across the border. I am a LPR and have GC.

Will I need my passport also? I have a UK passport. Does this get stamped at the crossing back into US?

Will you need it? Probably not. Should you take it anyway? Yes. How will you be arriving in the US? Flying? Driving? Walking?

Not likely, no.

Ian
thanks Ian.

I will be driving across. I though they would stamp the passport - they do this if you fly across.

They don't stamp things outside at the landborder. They can send you into the office if they feel the need to stamp something.
