visas for domestic US flights
Does anyone know if airlines check visas of foreign nationals boarding domestic
flights in the US. They didn't used to but this may have changed since Sept. 11.

They only require Government issued photo ID. If you have no photo ID other than your
foreign passport, they may also check your visa. An expired visa or i-94 may land you
in trouble.

Im a foreign national and I have travelled after sept. 11 without any problem. my
drivers' license was more than sufficient for the same. they do not need either your
H1-B visa petititon or your I-94. that is required only when entering the US. -kamal

Why would an expired visa cause any problems? The visa is _only_ for entry into the
US. Once you are there the I-94 controls the duration of your stay. Taking a flight
within the US does not require any re-entry.
