i am here on the visa waiver program. want to marry a girl i met here. what are the
problems associated with a "change of status" from visa waiver if i get married
tomorrow? anyone done it? thanks JC

Presuming the girl is a US citizen, you can change status, providing that she will
provide an affidavit of support for you and an I-130 petition for you. See tourist
adjustment section of Doc Steen site. Alvena
