on Visa waiver program can i work here?
Hi im from australia here in the US on the Visa waiver program visiting
my girl friend here who is a student can i work here if so does any
one know the process thanks for any assistance.

No, you can not. The visa waiver is for visitors *only*.
It does *not* allow working.
