Visa Number
I received DV2003 notification letter. At one of the application form, item number
25, it said: "List dates of all previous visits to or residence in the United States.
Give type of visa status, if known. Give INS "A" number if any."
What is "A" number? Is that the same with "control number" in my F1 visa or is it the
"admission number" in my I-94 card?

It is an INS file number. It is not the control number on your F-1 visa, nor is it
the I-94 number.
It will be assigned to you later. It will be on your actual Permanent Resident card.

It is an INS file number. It is not the control number on your F-1 visa, nor is it
the I-94 number.
It will be assigned to you later. It will be on your actual Permanent Resident card.
