Visa Issuance Delays
I have and H1B and have been living in the US for 9 years. Now i need
to renew it so I went back to my home country Morocco. I went for the
interview on January 17 and they told me it will take between 3 to 6
weeks to get security clearance. Now it's been 10 weeks and I'm still
waiting for their call.
Anyone experienced the same delays? What can I do? My employer is
getting very impatient and i may lose my job if i don't get my visa
soon.

Why didn't you just send the renewal to St. Louis?

Why didn't you just send the renewal to St. Louis?

I tried to renew it in the states through the department of state but
after waiting 6 weeks they told me i have to go to my home country to
do it.
