Visa interview and letters
My wife is getting ready to go to her visa interview at the US Consulate in
Vietnam...I was told they require a bunch of handwritten letters to show we
have had an on going relationship..Nobody writes letters anymore!..Especially
to Vietnam..It takes 2 weeks for them to arrive if they do at all..We have
exchanged easily 100 e-mails..I would think in this modern age they would
accept a printed copy of e-mail correspondence...How many handwritten letters
will they want to see and how bad will it hurt her chances if she doesn`t have
a lot of them?...We have exchnged cards on holidays and special
occasions..Thanks in advance

Yes, they do accept emails, cards, pictures ect, but your strongest evidence is how she is going to answer the questions with the officer in the USA Embassy. You have to prepare her with the questions that she knows you very well in regarding to when you got married, how many people were there, your age, her age, your date of birth, where your live and so on, your religion, language, culture and so on. Ensure that you do role play with your wife. You can have all evidences in regarding to your paper work that is going to sustain your wife's interview. If you have any questions don't hesitate to write to me. [email protected]. Take Care, Good Luck and Happy New Year!
