A girl I know her name is Yael, she was told her last visa condor
background check for her fiance would take 8 weeks or less, 8 months
later she was reading to go for blood, finally she got her Senators to
help, I am not sure who her Senators contacted, but I just emailed her
and asked her to post here about her experience, I hope it helps some
of you, it's the not knowing that is so hard on us,,

I contacted my friend who I am happy to say her fiance will be here in
6 days,, today is July 20th, but I am trying to get more details on
how she got someone to do something about her 8 month wait for the
second background check.
I do know that she contacted her Sentators, she called the State Dept.
and Maura Harty.
This was my advice from Yael my friend who's fiance is coming soon.
I would suggest to wait the 8 weeks before you start screaming and
than tell them (your congressman and Maura office) in a long letter
about all the trouble you have had and how long it has taken, also
include a copy of that letter that you recvd when they told you his
papers went to the wrong place. Tell them that you cant believe that
you an AMERICAN can be treatd this way and how your trying to do
things legally and your only concern is your happiness with your
fiancee and they are making it so difficlt for you, also include (for
drama) that he is being harrased since the day of his interview by the
government because he is being considered defecting, and that the US
is penalizing him for falling in love with an american.
