I see appointments available right now so it must be just the type of visa. Admittedly they are not until March, but there are always some available. (I am H1B)

Ah I see thanks! Still nothing for me unfortunately. Must be the visa type! Although I hear some other E2's getting appointments.

Hi all, I completed my DS-160 form today and was able to get an appointment for early March straightaway. The application is for an L-1a (blanket) visa

Hello, does anyone know what the situation is for non-immigrant visas? I am trying to get a J1, and want to know how long I will have to wait for interview / visa at the London embassy.

No worries! But yes, L1/E2 etc, are all non-immigrant temp visas too. Sorry, probably not what you wanted to hear I'm afraid, I think you'd better prepare your employer for a delay in you being able to start work.

have u putted the form through yeah
feel free ask any questions
So the wait time for a non-immigrant visa appointment is about 7 months?

Is it is any different for immigrant family visas, e.g. CR-1?
