to take her vaccination records at the US embassy upon the arrival of packet 3, but she
cannot find her vaccine records. is there any alternative? any doctor's note we can get
for her? what should we do? any suggestions please. Thanks, Ashish.

Hi, I didn't have an immunization records, at the time I did my physical. I spoke to my
doctor, and she did some blood tests, and gave me some shots that she thought (by age) I
didn't have, like hepatitis B and DTP. With the blood tests, and this 2 shots I didn't
have, I took it to the civil surgeon, and he checked everything correct.

In case you don't have an immunization record, the doctor might order blood tests, to see
if she has antibodies to the different diseases.

My suggestion, ask the doctor what's needed. And don't worry to much about the
immunization record.

Good luck Nalu

Your wife will either have to provide her vaccination records or get all of the
vaccinations. My husband thought he had most of his vaccination records, but they didn't
accept them. So he had to have all the vaccinations. And in one day! Ouch!

I came from Canada and also had to have my vaccinations again. For me it was easier to
get them all again rather then to find my 'official' records in Canada and have them
sent down.

Good Luck!

Were you given Hepatits B shots at the medical? I thought this was a series of 3 shots
over a 5-6 month period? Had you had one or more of the Hep B series before the exam?
