Default USPS sucking

Guys.. I wish we had have known not to use USPS to send in our AOS
package. :( We sent it on Monday the 14th November, and it still hasn't
arrived at its destination (a mere 3 hours away from us!!!).. *sigh*

Its so stressful and dissapointing. :( They can't even tell us what
happened to it or even if it will ever actually arrive. We can't even
complain till 14 days have passed.

So, fair warning to others - First Class Mail means nothing - don't use
USPS.

Always use registered mail. That way, you know where it is and when it
arrives.

We used USPS certified mail, return receipt requested, and got confirmation of delivery every time.

How do you know it has not been received?

It may take a month+ to receive your NOAs for the submission; that does not mean that it was not received at their facility before that.

Oh thank goodness!! I got the Delivery Confirmation today!! Next time I
need to send anything, I'll use a tracking service.. what a lot of extra
stress that we really didn't need right now.

Immigration is fun, isn't it. :)
