US Tourist visa for senior citizens?
Hi,
My parent (mom) is wanting to visit me in the US and intending to stay only
for 3 months. Since she has reached retirement age (63) and does not have a
job in her home country, is it possible for her to obtain a tourist visa as
long as she has enough $$ and a savings account, etc?
I'm a GC holder and can I attest to the consulate (giving her a letter of
invitation) that I will be solely responsible for her financial needs while
visiting the US?
Thanks!

Yes. It will help if she has other family and owns a home back in her home
country.

If possible, avoid that (although some consulates insist on such an
affidavit of support on form I-134). It can be evidence that she has too
many ties to the USA and not enough to her home country.
