Us Immigration Funds Question
I am travelling out from the UK to Newark International on a friday
afternoon and returning 2 days later on the Sunday evening.
I have searched high and low for this information and cannot seem to find it
anywhere.
Are travellers entering the USA under the Visa Waiver Program required to
have a minimum amount of funds and if so, how much cash would I have to
carry for such a short stay?
I only ask as I am only there for a short time for leisure purposes and
don't want to spend hours proving that I have an 8000 credit limit that I
can always fall back upon should the $600 or so in cash I would probably
take runs out.
Regards
Jeff

Re: Us Immigration Funds Question
I have never entred with more than a 100 quid max, often a lot less.
Only asked once, showed my Bank and Credit Cards.
Once was through Newark, not my favourite. I had a long lay over and could afford the time to watch a plane load of Italians 'queueing'.
