Urgent: Re-entry to the USA on a Permanent GC
I have a Permanent Green Card.
I have been out of the country for 11 months.
I am returning to the USA before my 12 month period is up.
I've contacted the embassy, but they just pointed me to a web page
that basically says I can apply to re-enter the USA as long as I've
been away for less than a year and have continued domicile in the USA.
What they don't tell me is if I need to fill out any forms, provide
any documentation.
Do I just fly back into the USA with my GC, walk up and present
myself. Or do I have to do anything else?
*any* help would be greatly appreciated.
