TSC killing me
My GOD! It has been more then 2 months since the 1st NOA and still nothing. When we just started this process they had been moving pretty fast and now it takes so long. In fact it looks like only one person got 2nd NOA and he had been waiting 2months (Sep-19- 1st NOA and Nov-19th-2nd NOA).
I talked to my honey I asked him to get in tough with his Congressman-hopefully it will help somehow.
I wanted to get a visa in the begining of January and now analyzing the situation I think that it is better to start thinking about april. Damn! Almost ready to cry over all this BS.
One good thing about it is NO request for additional Info. What do you think? If they would need more infor would they already ask for it?
Hopefuly they will be finished by the end of December.
Does anybody know what to do if the predicted time frame which is listed on the 1st NOA (60-90days) is expired?
I am so sorry for everybody who goes through TSC and waiting on approval I know how hard it is.
I wish everybody luck and good news in the nearest future. I am with all of you. And thatnk you so much for this forum It helps so mush to track changes and follow up the situation.
If anybody has anything to share about waiting Please do this.

hi Yuliya.
Maybe you were mentioning me, well i have to tell you i am SHe not He hahahaha 25-year-old girl. yes i had to wait my 2nd NOA for two months. now i am preparing all the documents that the consulat wants. next week i will be having my medical stuff thing.
I know exactly how you feel (and everyone else's) during this waiting time. the powerless feeling, all the curiousity about what all those people in TSC has been doing so far, and the closer your 90 days the more upset and nervous you become. i remember those phone calls all the way across the ocean from my US fiancee getting impatient and frustated not knowing what they had done with our file. was it going to be denied? approved? and you should see how many calling cards i used just to share my tears with him! And the day he finally called me up telling me we was approved, i didnt smile nor laugh..... i thought he was making fun of me hahahaha :P
Yuliya, please be patient. the waiting is worth it. and soon as you got approved things can move real fast! that is good you use congressman's help, dont loose contact with him/her. keep in touch.
best luck from me,
anggraeni

Oh I am so sorry for HIM LOL. Thanks for telling me. It is kind of difficult to say who is she and who is he LOL. From now on I won't make any more mistakes like that- not about you for sure. I am so happy for you. I remember when I first read your note where you said that the congressman said that your petition had been approved I almost jumped on thinking "Finnely they are moving" LOL. So good luck to you. You know I am 23 years old so I guess we are alomost the same age. It would be a good idea to have aplace where we could point out the gender.
Thanks for your worlds. But I guess it is too difficult to calm down. I was impatient went it was 3 weeks from 1st NOA and now it drives me crazy. I can not think about anything else but getting approved.
It is so good when you can talk to someone who understands your feelings.

Eventually the case is given to an INS officer for adjudication. This is basically the last step in the process (by this time, the file has already waited its turn in the file room to be assigned to an INS officer), and naturally it would be the INS officer who would determine if the case should be approved or denied, or if more evidence would be needed to properly adjudicate the case.
So if a case is still sitting on the shelf in the file room waiting its turn for an INS officer, there is still the chance that the INS officer will determine more evidence is needed and will issue an RFE.
All the more reason to document those cases well, taking into account any special circumstances that are present in your particular case (I suppose receiving an RFE would suck even when a service center is moving along at a fast clip, however I think it would sting even more when its received for a case that has already been languishing at a service center that is particularly slow at a given moment in time).

Re: TSC killing me
We submitted an I-751 to TSC in September and my wife is now waiting for her
new greencard to arrive in the mail. We've already gone to the local INS
office and got the adjustment placed in her passport. Mission accomplished.
I can only attribute the timely turnaround at TSC to the fact that TSC does
have their own website, and they state how to submit documents, and we
obliged them. For example, the envelope we mailed the packet in, and the
cover letter both displayed the "I-751 Original Submission", and the "A"
number. I imagine this would facilitate a faster progression through the
system as no contractor / clerk has to open the envelope and try to figure
out "What the heck is this?".

Re: TSC killing me
Matthew:
As an update - Selma has her interview next Monday at 8:30 in Rio. The
timeline for the interview was slightly extended because the original
Package 3 went to the wrong address. And now the interview processing time
is running about 8 weeks from the time when they get the package 3 back. We
are hoping that she is on a plane for the US next Thursday. We have our
fingers crossed!
