Default travelling during L2 visa process

Hi,

My wife is getting an L1 visa and I am getting and L2. The application
for these is being handled by my wifes employer and expect to file them
quite soon.

I understand that it is a bad idea for the L1 applicant to travel to the
US during visa processing. But what about for the L2 applicant? I have
some business travel to the US coming up in the next month, during which
time the applications will be being processed. I need to decide whether
I should go or not. Any thoughts or experiences?

If it helps I have travelled to the US on business previously on the
visa waiver.

Thanks in advance

I wouldn't worry too much about it. It's not the greatest idea in the
world, but if you look at the risks and benefits, the benefits probably win.

The worst risk that your admission could be denied. That is, IF they put
your showing up at the airport together with your wife's pending case
(which is highly unlikely in my mind). And all that would happen is that
you would have wasted the airfare, and won't be making your business
meetings.

The risk of not trying to go? You wouldn't make your business meeting
anyway.

Overall, I wouldn't worry about it.
