Hello all,

I am currently on H1B visa and my wife is on H4 visa. Our visas are
valid until Jan 2009. My wife needs to travel to Canada for a week
(from the US) and come back this month. She has a H1B application in
progress and is pending approval at this time.

Questions :

1: Can she travel to Canada on H4 with a pending H1B approval
eventhough her H4 is valid.

2: If she can, what visa would she have to come back to the US on ?

3: Does she have to get her H1B visa stamped before she re-enters US ?
If so, can she get that done in Canada ?

4: Is she waits and travels to Canada after getting her H1B approved,
can she still come back to the US on H4 or does she have to get a new
H1 stamp on her passport ?
