Default Transfer H1B

I have heared that if I have H1B, and I find a new job with another
company, I (the new company) can transfer my H1B visa. Is it correct?
What is the procedure for that? Is it possible that my current company
will not allow the visa transfer?
Thanks

The new employer may file an H-1B petition upon your behalf. You may
work while the petition is pending. Further, if you already have an
H-1B visa stamp in your passport then, after the petition is approved
you may travel internationally using that H-1B visa stamp, even if it
has another employer's name on it.

If this doesn't answer your question, please try clarifying it.

Mike,

Got the H1B stamped from employer A but not entered USA yet. Meanwhile employer B also sent the papers to get the H1B stamped. Now the question will the consulate cancel the emplyer A H1B stamped and stamp again with employer B name ? Will it cause any problem in future ?

What is suggestion ?

Right now I have H1B visa work permission and the relevant satmp in
the passport as well.
I would like to get another job in another company. What is the
procedure for this in terms of the work permissios? Will the new
company transfer my current H1b visa from my previous company? how
much time does it take?
Thanks

Hi, You (the new company) must apply for a new H1B (you can have 2 ). It must show the usual, that your skills are needed and that an American is not displaced. Having been involved with numerous co workers who obtained an H1B, they are not hard to get if you have a degree and have the application processed by someone who really knows the current labor market in the area and who describes the job you are looking for in such a way that you basically are the only person in the area who can apply. Of course the salary offered must not be lower than the prevailing wage. You do not even need to tell the current company that you are applying. If you resigned your job and do not get another H1B, the company who brought you out in the first place has to send you back.
The real trick is to get here on aan H1B and immediately get your green card going.
Regards
