Default Tax form 1722 for AOS Interview

I have my AOS interview next week and only just realised I needed this
form.

The IRS have faxed this information over to me, will this be
satisfactory? They are also mailing me a copy, but I don't think this
will come through in time.

Help - I am really concerned I won't get the stamp now!!!

What is that form? I did a search on www.irs.gov and couldn't find it.

They should accept the faxed I-1722. Take the copies you have taken of your tax returns, if you have them, if that makes you feel better.
If there is any hitch (which I doubt) they'll just request you to produce it at a later date. Don't worry,

I know I couldn't find it on the website either!
I call the IRS and a really nice lady knew about it straight away. It
is basically a single piece of paper that sums up you last three years
taxes. I only imagine this is to check against the tax returns you are
providing.

I have a faxed copy of this from the IRS on headed paper etc, will I
not get the stamp without the original???

Am starting to panic!!

Oooooooooooohhhh, tax transcripts!!! I know what those are!!! I called for mine and Corey's the other day, and mine aren't ready yet, and Corey will have to request his own, as we filed seperately.

You should be okay with fax copies. If you ask me, the originals don't look all that flash anyway. If you do get any grief from the immigration officer, just tell them the originals are in the mail.

Are you sure that you are going to get the stamp, even if you do have the original I-1722?? Most Field Offices make people wait for their stamp even after the interview. Excuse being security checks etc. not completed....
Maybe if you indicated at which field office you are having the interview, someone here could help who is dealing with that office...

Thanks for some of the reassurance. I am dealing with the NYC Federal Plaza Office.

Form 1722 is something that you can request over the 'phone. It's not the transcript.
It's a little fancier and I believe it's on an IRS letterhead giving details of taxes filed over a specified period.
I have gathered since that it's something used by College students who are funded by their parents, as proof of taxes filed by the parents....
