Support Hose(rs) - The INS and Workers Comp. Bad Mix?
Conundrum...what if the U.S. petitioner is a fine, upstanding, tax paying, hard working citizen that was injured on the job and is on Workers Comp when the Affidavit of Support is adjudicated? Will they take into account the solid employment, income, and tax return history of the petitioner? Will they turn their noses up at said petitioner if they need to go on short-term state disability until April?
Anyone? Anyone? Bueller? Bueller?

i doubt you would be refused for that reason. having said that, you need to
meet the affidavit of support one way or another to be 'safe'. if your comp
doesn't quite make it, it would be wise to find a co-sponsor.
best of luck with your process.
