Supplement A (485) yes or no?
Who has to file the supplement A of form 485?

It's complicated but the quick answer relevant for most people on this newsgroup is
that if you are marrying a US citizen and entered the US legally you do not need to
file supplement A. If you entered illegally you would have to file but then you would
need a petition filed previously that had grandfathered you in to being able to use
section 245(i).
