Default Student Visa Expired, YEARS Ago, how to Become legal??????

OK,

My Girlfriend is Korean and Her Student Visa Expired around 6 years ago and
She Wants to become a legal Resident,
How Does she Go about this. She is Afraid to Goto the Immigration Office and
get sent back to Korea

She Has Been Working At a Dental Office over 4 years and Been Paying Taxes
and Everything.
