Milan,

I couldn't figure out how to just delete the photo, so I deleted the comment. Congratulations on getting the temp I-551 stamp, but it's not a good idea to put up a photo of it showing your A-number. Otherwise you might be looking at even more theft....Identity Theft.

Thanks Rene.
However, I did erased the last 3 or 4 numbers tho. But still, you are right. Rene, question if I may. The IO told me it shouldn't take more than 4 weeks after my biometrics to get the new GC. That is excellent if that's the case. But, I visited the USCIS web and all that new web I get confused. It's all graphs now. Before, they were dates and months now I don't see it. Anyone knows how I can tell from the graph how many months is the waiting period? Thank you.

My bad too! I started off with "mugging" combining your injury with the robbery.
Thanks for separating both the issues for me.

No, sorry, I have no idea. I haven't looked at the new USCIS graph-type things at all. As you know, it's not a good idea to track stuff like that anyway...just drives you nuts. You have a stamp good for 6 months, nothing to worry about, just don't think about how long it will take until it gets within a few weeks of the end of 6 months and still haven't received it.

lostlove is mixing up Milan's "injury" (visit to the ER) with his wallet being stolen. Two different things, two different days, two different occurrances.

People really should just stick to the immigration topics on these forums, and talk about the personal stuff via PM or outside the forum.

I am heading to Cape Canaveral beach to hit the waves. I will try my best stay away from these little whirlpools of controversy.

Waves are dangerous and whirlpools are deadly. I prefer waves. Some are so good at stirring the pot for whirlpools to happen.
