Sponsoring Parental Units
Hello there,
I am currently applying for citizenship and intend to sponsor my british parents for greencards once this process is complete. They are planning a 6 month visit over later this year and that could well overlap with the initial submission of documents for their immigration. Will that be a problem upon leaving the US? Do they then have to stay put in England until the whole process is complete before returning?
Thank you for your help.
Rich

If there on a B2 visa, which might not be easy to get, coming from a VWP country, when they come to the states, they will have to prove that they don't intend to stay on that visit, so lots of things like bills, jobs and other things to come back to or they might end up getting denied at POE.
But other than that, it shouldn't be a problem for them to come visit.
