Special Registration experience
Hi all,
For all those who are wondering about the special registration, here is my experience:
I went there very early, i waited about 6hours, when it was my turn to register, i was asked questions about me my family country bank account ....etc.
But the funny think is: if your status is not clear at the time you register you will be sent to second person who is gonna check your file to find out why you are out of status.(If you are they will arrest you!!!!!!!!!).
in my case even thought i had a pending case based on an approved petition the agent gave me a new appointment but kept my passport without mentionning that on the appointement sheet.
I honestly never heard about INS keeping your passpoet, would someone tell me if this is legal?
Thanks

The passport is property of the country which issued it.
