Default Son living in Canada

My Son (28 and unmarried) is a landed immigrant (from England) and living in
Canada, I am in the States and would like to know if anyone can tell me what
I need to do to get him here to the States to live with me permanent.
Thank you

Since he is over 21, you have very few choices available. If you're a US citizen, you can petition for him as an immediate relative - that'll probably take from 3 to 5 years. If you're a permanent resident, you can still petition but he'll be subject to a visa quota - and it may take 8 to 10 years. He may also be eligible for a TN visa under NAFTA. If he has a US citizen girlfriend, he may be eligible for a K-1 visa. Good luck.

TN will only be an option if he has taken Canadian citizenship.

Which he should do anyway, as otherwise his PR will expire a few years after moving to the US and he won't be able to get it back easily if his US plans don't work out.
