So It Begins
I just wanted to thank the people who share so much info and answer so
many questions on this forum. I've only posted 1 or 2 times before,
but I've done lots of research here to help put together our petition.
Just mailed everything off to NSC Monday 4-21-03. Thought I would
introduce myself and begin the wait. I'm from Nebraska and my fiance
is from Alberta and we plan to get married next spring. Thanks again
to everyone for sharing their info and I hope that I can start
answering some questions in the future as well.

good luck on your long, but ultimately worthwhile, journey.

While I'm kind of at the end of my NSC journey (any day now :-)
I would say the wait is long and sometimes it rough...but once you reach the other side...all is well.

Yay! Alberta! Thats where I am from. Tell your fiance to enjoy all their favorite foods while there still, some things are reeeeaaaaallly hard to find in the States. Or maybe it is just especially hard where I am. Good luck with everything!

Re: So It Begins
Thanks for the welcome from everyone! We've been thinking about this
process, planning and reseraching with our families for some time, so
at least we went in KNOWING it was going to be a long wait thru NSC...
no surprise there. :-)
As far as favorite foods from Alberta, we have lucked out in that
category. Boston Pizza is my fiance's absolute favorite place and
Omaha has 1 of the 3 they have just put in the US, so that is a nice
little "slice of home" for him.
Thanks again everyone! And good luck to everyone else who is waiting.
