Default Sell E2 business?

Hi all
we have been in the Orlando area on an E2 VISA for 18 months, the first 6-12 months were really tough, we bought a landscaping business with no experience but with hard work the business is thriving. My question more relates to the visa, we have a 5 yr visa, if we sell the business and take 6 - 12 months out to see if our long term future lies here or England can we then still get the visa renewed. For example, we go back to England for 6 months and realise we’ve made a big mistake and want to come back to Florida can we then buy another business using the same LLC and then the new business is successful can we then renew the visa because we’ll have the last 2-3 full year trading history, what do you think the embassy will think?
Also, looking for people experience of either having an E2 renewed or the renewal declined to get some idea of how much growth we have to show in order for a renewal?
Our concern is about not having the visa renewed at 5 years as we have a 4yr old and 9yr old, if we didn’t have the boys we could take the risk of staying in the hope we may or may not get it renewed.
I know everyone’s opinion on the E2 visa so don’t need to be told it’s not permanent the children will age out etc etc.
Thanks in advance

If you sell the business, it’s over, you leave. You obtained the visa for the business, not your LLC.

Agree with the respected posters above. The visa was issued for a purpose, if you no longer serve that purpose, the visa is no longer valid.
