Default SEEKING EMPLOYMENT AFTER GC

I recently became a conditional resident, can anyone point me in the right
direction in find a good job one where they wont take advantage of me for
being a immigrant, i am tired of working in the restaurant industry where i
have no prospect of growth. I went to college for two years studying culinary
arts but did not graduate. I tried applying at the post office but they wont
take conditional residents, my only other alternate might be the army. Any
help would be greatly appreciated.

You're a legal resident... you have the law on your side. If an employer is taking advantage of you, it is *your* responsibility to speak up. If you're too afraid, well... we can't help you with that. Alas, without a college degree, even US citizens have difficulty finding a "good job"... and unless you're a glutton for punishment, I don't see the military as a good career choice just now! Perhaps after the 2008 Presidential election...
