REQUEST FORMS OR DOWNLOAD??
We are going to be starting the K-3 spouse visa process very soon. Is it best to
request the forms or download them off the net? If we request them how long does it
take to receive them and is it best to phone the automated number giving the forms
needed or go to the web and request them to be sent from there?
Thanks

There is no reason not to use downloaded forms any more. INS accepts downloaded
forms, even though the forms sent to you by mail are on multi-part, on colored paper,
or double-sided. Just print out the forms single-sided on white paper, and fill them
out. Or fill them out and print them, for the ones that are fillable on-line. Then
make photocopies for your files, and file them.
Seehttp://www.ins.usdoj.gov/graphics/formsfee/forms/forminfo.htm, particularly the
following:
" . . . all INS forms may now be printed from the INS Website without any special
printing requirements (such as head-to-foot, using specially-colored paper, etc.)."

Re: REQUEST FORMS OR DOWNLOAD??
I would think that it is simple and convenient to download the .pdf forms, fill them,
print and make copies in the future. Check out these sites to download INS forms:
