Re: Report from the Grinch
Grinch,
It's good to hear from you again, although not so good to learn that the Grinchess did a runner. Did she leave Otty behind?
I experienced a similar situation with my ex-wife, although she was the immigrant. Hooked up with a boyfriend and took off to live with him. Hopefully the Grinchess' boyfriend will do to her what my ex-wife's boyfriend did - throw her out when he get's tired of her.
Congratulations on your removal of conditions.
Best regards, JEff

Hi Cats,
Just popping in to tell you the latest. For those that don't know me, here
is a recap of my immigration experience so far.
Nov 99 Arrived in the US on vacation. For "10 Foot pole" fans. I had no
job in the UK, no Home in the UK and told the INS guy I was staying for a
bit to visit friends.
April 00 After some discussion in this group (thanks Gani) I decided to
marry and risk a visit top the INS to file.
June 00 Trip to Philly to File Forms. Received EAD on the spot.
Sept 00 After a long hunt got a job as a with Adelphia Communications.
Nov 00 Interview at Philly. About 30 minutes later emerged with a CPR
stamp. No mention of arriving on VWP.
Jan 01 Green Card arrived, Wrecked my car hitting a large Deer.
Oct 02 Filled for Removal of conditions. Green card extended for a year.
Feb 03 Received letter saying my application for PR was approved. The
same day I found out my wife was having an affair.
April 03 Wife moved out of Grinch Mansion to move in with her Boyfriend.
Tues 8 June - Made the 10 hour Round trip to Philly to tie up loose ends.
Arrived at the office at 7.00 am. Long Queue. Got a ticket #611. Got to
counter 4 at 9.30am, very nice lady. Stamped my passport, took fingerprint
and I signed the card. Was out at 9.45am.
Hopefully I am done with this shit now.
I probably will do the Citizen thing, but I have not decided yet.
I wanna thank Gani, Rete, Alvena, Platt and Udall.
I want to thank those that mailed me recently, you know who you are.

Re: Report from the Grinch
Good to hear from you, Mr. Grinch. Sorry about Mrs. Grinch, but glad to see you came out of it alive and kicking.
Doubt you know me, but when I first found this group through Usenet you were a name that kept popping up, and your posts were pretty ...interesting... lol

LOL, well, I've not popped my head in this group for about a month and
ironically enough I look now and find you here too.
Just by way of a real quick update, Michelle and I are awaiting my
conditions being removed, arrived March '01, EAD October '01, got CPR'd
April '02, applied to have my conditions removed March '04, got a
confirmation letter from TSC May '04, and still waiting for further
progress.
