Religous Worker, Conrad 20 & Regional EB-5

As per AILA [a weekend posting -- thank you!], Congress has passed resolutions extending the Religious Worker [SR-1], Conrad 20, and EB-5 regional center programs until March 6, 2009 on September 27, 2008. The president is expected to sign these.
As a historical note, in the 1996 election when Clinton and the Gingrich Congress were in their fight re "no continuing resolutions" and a mutual desire to avoid "shutting down the government" -- the 1996 major immigration legislation [IIRAIRA] passed as a rider to the FY-1997 budget.
