Default Redundancy during AOS process

We are just starting our AOS process, our reciept date was Aug 14th '03 out of the Newark office.

We have just heard that my wife (US citizen) may be made redundant in the next month. Does anyone know what impact this will have on our interview? i.e. if she is unable to find new employment by the time we get called in.

We aren't in danger of falling below the poverty level if she can't find new employment.

We are also considering taking an extended honeymoon abroad instead of my wife seeking employment immediately. Does anyone have any experience of the impact this would have during our interview?

Thanks
Paul
