Hi all,

I have filed the Adjustment of Status(AOS) with Notice Date around May 2000. The new
Immigration law seems to allow changing job after AOS has been filed for 180 days or
more(but still keep the original priority date). If I have an employer willing to hire me,
what needs to be done before I can change to new job? Do they need to file H1 petition for
me? What else?

I have an EAD good till June. Am I not allowed to have any jobless period between jobs? Or
a specific duration of jobless period can exist between jobs?

These questions are all based on keeping my filed AOS and green card application intact
at any time.

Thanks for your help!
